T&W Architects. Jeff Banks, Top Office.

Whilst working with Tebbot & Wells Architects, 1986-1988, Tim Dodd won the opportunity to design a competition entry at the Top Office Exhibition in BDC, Islington, London, representing Jeff Banks, the Fashion Designer and Brand.

Tim Dodd's proposal was a 6 meter cube, delineated by floor plan and height of section, including mast.

This structure was fabricated with a structural frame of SFS (steel frame systems) with gypsum board, plastered joints, sanded and painted.

The Root-2 meeting table rotated on a bearing at the springing point of the Golden Section.

The design was based on Root-2 and the Golden section proportion systems, as an early reference to Design.
